Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, mashed

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the almond butter and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add the oats, cinnamon, and salt, and mix thoroughly.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet and flatten slightly with a spoon.
