Description

This homemade pepperoni garlic bread recipe features Italian or French bread smothered in garlic butter, mozzarella, and crispy pepperoni. It’s an easy, cheesy appetizer or dinner side that brings bold flavor and comforting texture to your table.


Ingredients

1 loaf Italian or French bread

1/2 cup unsalted butter

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 cup pepperoni slices

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the bread loaf in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.

2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan or microwave. Add minced garlic, olive oil, and salt. Stir well.

3. Brush garlic butter generously over the cut sides of the bread.

4. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly, followed by pepperoni slices and Parmesan.

5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.

6. Remove from oven, top with chopped parsley, and let cool for 2 minutes.

7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.

Avoid overloading with cheese or pepperoni to prevent sogginess.

Best served immediately but can be reheated in the oven.
