Description

This homemade Hot Cocoa Mix is rich, creamy, and full of chocolatey comfort. It’s made with just a few pantry staples, stores beautifully, and makes the coziest cup every time. Perfect for gifting or keeping on hand for cold days.

Ingredients

2 cups powdered sugar

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

2 cups powdered milk

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup mini marshmallows

1 cup powdered creamer

1 teaspoon cornstarch

Instructions

1. Sift together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, powdered milk, salt, and cornstarch in a large bowl.

2. Stir in powdered creamer if using, then fold in mini marshmallows.

3. Store the mix in an airtight container or mason jar, labeled and kept in a cool, dry place.

4. To serve, mix 1/4 cup of the hot cocoa mix with 1 cup hot milk or water. Stir until smooth and enjoy!

Notes

Sifting the dry ingredients helps avoid clumps for a smooth cocoa.

Store away from humidity to prevent moisture from affecting texture.

Use Dutch-processed cocoa for a smoother, deeper chocolate flavor.
