Description
Hot Fudge Brownie Bread is a rich, dense chocolate loaf with a fudgy center and a hot fudge drizzle. This hybrid dessert combines the best of brownies and quick bread—perfect for dessert or a sweet snack.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup hot fudge sauce, plus more for drizzling
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream.
3. In a separate bowl, sift cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to the wet mix until just combined.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, drizzle half of the hot fudge, then add the remaining batter. Top with more fudge.
6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool 15 minutes in pan, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Use Dutch-processed cocoa for deeper flavor.
Do not overbake; it should stay fudgy.
You can freeze slices for up to 3 months.
