Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1/3 cup melted butter

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 large egg, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

Pinch of salt

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour


Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, mash bananas. Add melted butter and stir.

3. Mix in granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

4. Sprinkle baking soda and salt on top, then stir to combine.

5. Fold in flour gently until just combined—don’t overmix.

6. Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50–60 minutes.

7. Check doneness with a toothpick—should come out clean.

8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a rack.
