Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
3. Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
4. Stir in salt and flour just until blended.
5. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
6. Spread the mixture evenly in your prepared baking dish.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
8. Cool for 15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm or fully cooled.
