Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
1 cup heavy cream
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add more butter if needed. Sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Add heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and Parmesan cheese. Simmer until slightly thickened.
5. Return pasta and chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat in the creamy lemon garlic sauce.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best melt and flavor.
Don’t boil the cream sauce after adding lemon juice to avoid curdling.
Sear chicken in batches if needed for even browning.
