Description

Sweet, spicy, and perfectly crispy, these Longhorn Steakhouse Brussels Sprouts are roasted to golden perfection and tossed in a glaze that balances heat and richness. Ideal as a standout side or an impressive appetizer.

Ingredients

1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.

2. Trim and halve Brussels sprouts, then toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper on the sheet.

3. Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden.

4. While roasting, combine honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, paprika, red pepper flakes, and garlic in a saucepan. Simmer 4-5 minutes.

5. Toss hot sprouts in the warm glaze and serve immediately.

Notes

Use smaller sprouts for a sweeter, more tender bite.

For spicier results, increase the red pepper flakes.

Reheat leftovers in a skillet or oven to retain crispness.
