Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, flavorful dish featuring tender chicken cutlets in a rich parmesan sun-dried tomato sauce. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a comforting family meal, this one-pan recipe is easy to prepare yet impressive in taste. Serve it with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to enjoy every bit of the delicious sauce.

Ingredients

2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved lengthwise)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thin cutlets. Season with salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and oregano. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over it. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
  6. Turn off heat and garnish with fresh basil or parsley. Serve warm with pasta, rice, or bread.
