Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
8 oz lo mein noodles or spaghetti
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
2 green onions, chopped
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
2. Boil noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 1–2 minutes.
4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
5. Mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry. Add to skillet and stir until thickened.
6. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly.
7. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
