Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 large egg yolks

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1⁄4 cup powdered sugar
1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)

Instructions
1. Beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
2. Mix in the egg yolks and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, mixing until a soft dough forms.
4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Gently press an indentation into the center of each cookie using your thumb or a rounded teaspoon.
