Description
This Maple Glazed Baked Salmon is sweet, savory, and perfectly caramelized. With a simple glaze of maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, and soy sauce, it bakes into flaky, flavorful perfection. A quick yet impressive dinner that’s both nutritious and deeply satisfying.
Ingredients
4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional: chopped parsley or green onions
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with parchment paper or light oil.
2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the baking dish.
3. In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
4. Pour the glaze evenly over the fillets and let sit for 10 minutes.
5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork.
6. Optional: broil for 1–2 minutes for a crispy glaze.
7. Let rest briefly, garnish with parsley or green onions, and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking.
Always pat salmon dry before glazing to help the sauce stick.
Broiling at the end adds a beautiful finish but watch closely to avoid burning.
