Description
This One Pan Cheeseburger Pie Dinner is a hearty, weeknight-friendly meal that combines all the comfort of a cheeseburger with the ease of a casserole. With ground beef, melty cheddar, and a fluffy Bisquick topping, it bakes into a golden, savory pie that satisfies every time.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
0.5 cup chopped onion
0.25 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
0.5 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until the beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess fat.
2. Transfer the cooked mixture into a greased 9-inch pie dish or keep it in the oven-safe skillet.
3. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar evenly over the beef.
4. In a bowl, whisk Bisquick, milk, and eggs until smooth. Pour over the beef and cheese.
5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25 minutes or until golden and set.
6. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use a leaner beef for a lighter version or 80/20 for richer flavor.
Add pickles or ketchup on top for a true cheeseburger twist.
You can swap in ground turkey or gluten-free mix to suit your needs.
