Ingredients
1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
3 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
8 oz fettuccine or linguine
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add steak in a single layer, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
2. Lower heat to medium, add butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté until garlic is golden and fragrant.
3. Pour in chicken broth and cream. Bring to a simmer, add pasta. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 12–14 minutes until pasta is tender.
4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, return steak to the pan, and simmer for 1–2 minutes to heat through.
5. Garnish with parsley and serve hot. Add extra Parmesan if desired.
