Description

Peppermint Christmas Fudge is a festive, creamy chocolate treat swirled with refreshing peppermint flavor and crunchy candy bits. It’s simple to make, perfect for holiday gifting, and absolutely irresistible on any dessert tray.


Ingredients

3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies or candy canes

Optional: additional crushed peppermint for topping


Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang. Lightly grease the paper.

2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter. Stir until smooth.

3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, peppermint extract, and salt. Fold in crushed peppermint candies.

4. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Add extra peppermint if desired.

5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.

6. Lift fudge from the pan using parchment and cut into squares to serve.

Notes

Make sure to stir constantly to avoid burning the chocolate.

Use high-quality chocolate chips for best flavor and texture.

Add extra peppermint bits just before chilling for a festive look.
