Ingredients
4 slices sourdough or Italian bread
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
0.25 cup mini pepperoni slices
0.25 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
0.25 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
sliced olives, mushrooms, or jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
1. Butter one side of each bread slice and place them butter-side down.
2. Spread pizza sauce evenly on two of the slices.
3. Add mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and any desired toppings.

5. Top with the other bread slices, butter-side up.
