Ingredients
12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
24 slices pepperoni
2 tablespoons butter, melted
0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
0.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice rolls horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in a greased baking dish.
2. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the bottom half. Sprinkle with mozzarella and layer with pepperoni slices. Cover with top half of rolls.
3. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush mixture over roll tops and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
4. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until golden and bubbly. Garnish with herbs if desired.
5. Serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.
Notes
Use connected rolls to make slicing and filling easier.
Don’t overload with toppings to prevent sogginess.
