Description

Popcorn Cake is a fun, no-bake dessert loaded with chewy marshmallows, crunchy popcorn, candy-coated chocolates, and a touch of salty pretzels. It’s the perfect treat for parties, movie nights, or just because.

Ingredients

10 cups plain popped popcorn

0.25 cup salted butter

10 oz mini marshmallows

0.5 cup peanut butter

1 cup candy-coated chocolate

0.5 cup mini pretzels, roughly broken

nonstick spray or butter for greasing

Instructions

1. Grease a bundt pan or 9-inch cake pan with butter or nonstick spray.

2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and peanut butter over medium heat. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth.

3. In a large bowl, add popcorn and pretzels. Pour melted marshmallow mixture over and gently stir.

4. Let cool 1-2 minutes, then fold in candy-coated chocolate.

5. Press mixture firmly into the greased pan using greased hands or a spatula.

6. Let cake set at room temperature for 1 hour. Flip onto a plate and serve.

Notes

Use plain or lightly buttered popcorn for best texture.

For a firmer cake, press the mixture firmly into the pan.

Candy mix-ins should be added after slight cooling to avoid melting.
