Description

This quick and easy honey garlic ground beef and broccoli stir-fry brings sweet, savory, and garlicky flavor together in one satisfying pan. Perfect for busy nights, it’s ready in under 30 minutes and pairs beautifully with rice or noodles. Great for meal prep or last-minute dinner plans!


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tablespoon sesame oil

3 cups broccoli florets

3 cloves garlic, minced

0.25 cup soy sauce

0.25 cup honey

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

0.5 teaspoon ground ginger

1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (optional)

2 tablespoons sliced green onions

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

3 cups cooked rice or noodles


Instructions

1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat if needed.

2. Push beef aside, add sesame oil and garlic. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.

3. Add broccoli and stir with beef. Cook for 3–4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.

4. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and ginger. Pour into skillet and stir to coat.

5. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes. For a thicker sauce, stir in cornstarch slurry and simmer 1 more minute.

6. Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Use frozen broccoli if fresh isn’t available—just cook a bit longer.

Try ground turkey or chicken for a leaner variation.

Add red pepper flakes or sriracha if you want it spicy.
