Description

Moist, warmly spiced, and infused with holiday eggnog flavor, this Quick Eggnog Bread is the perfect loaf for cozy mornings or festive gatherings. No yeast, no fuss—just mix, bake, and enjoy every nostalgic bite.


Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 large eggs

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup eggnog

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chopped nuts or white chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

3. In a separate large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until smooth. Stir in eggnog, melted butter, and vanilla extract.

4. Add dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Fold in nuts or white chocolate chips if using.

5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

6. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Use full-fat eggnog for the richest flavor.

Don’t overmix the batter; stir just until combined.

Check for doneness around the 50-minute mark with a toothpick test.
