Description

Red Lobster’s Cheese Biscuit Loaf is a buttery, cheddar-packed bread recipe inspired by the famous restaurant biscuits. This easy savory loaf is perfect as a side dish, brunch option, or snack, filled with garlic, cheddar, and comfort in every slice.


Ingredients

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 tablespoon granulated sugar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup whole milk

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded

1 large egg

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a standard loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and salt.

3. Stir in shredded cheddar until coated with the dry mix.

4. In another bowl, beat the egg, then mix in milk and melted butter.

5. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir just until combined—do not overmix.

6. Spoon the batter into prepared pan, smooth the top.

7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

8. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

9. Slice while warm, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melt and flavor.

Do not overmix the batter to keep the loaf light and fluffy.

Allow loaf to rest before slicing to avoid crumbling.
