Ingredients
113 g corned beef
113 g Swiss cheese
80 g sauerkraut (drained)
85 g cream cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
60 g all-purpose flour
2 eggs
120 g breadcrumbs
oil for frying
60 g mayonnaise
30 g ketchup
15 g dill pickle relish
few dashes hot sauce
1/4 tsp paprika
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, mix corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until combined.
2. Roll the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet.
3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to help them firm up.
4. Prepare a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
5. Roll each ball in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs to coat completely.
6. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the balls in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden and crispy.
7. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
8. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle relish, hot sauce, and paprika to make the dipping sauce.
9. Serve hot Reuben Balls with the spicy Thousand Island sauce.
Notes
Use well-drained sauerkraut to prevent sogginess.
Chill the mixture before shaping for better consistency.
Adjust hot sauce to control the spiciness of the dip.
