Description

This Root Beer Float Pie is a creamy, nostalgic no-bake dessert that brings the best of soda shop vibes into a chilled graham cracker crust. Light, fluffy, and flavored with real root beer and vanilla, it’s a crowd-pleasing summer treat that’s easy to make ahead and serve cold.

Ingredients

1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust

3/4 cup cold root beer

1/2 cup whole milk

1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix

1/2 teaspoon root beer extract

8 oz whipped topping

Maraschino cherries (optional)

Extra whipped topping (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, whisk together cold root beer, milk, pudding mix, and root beer extract for 2 minutes until thickened.

2. Gently fold in whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

3. Spoon the filling into the graham cracker crust and smooth the top.

4. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or until firm.

5. Garnish with extra whipped topping and maraschino cherries before serving.

Notes

Make sure to use regular (not diet) root beer for best flavor and setting.

If using homemade whipped cream, whip to stiff peaks before folding in.

Chill thoroughly to ensure clean, easy slices.
