Description

Warm, cheesy, and packed with protein, these Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are the ultimate grab-and-go breakfast. Perfect for busy mornings or weekend brunches, each roll is stuffed with fluffy scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and melty cheddar cheese, wrapped in golden crescent dough.


Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon butter

1/2 cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional: chopped chives or green onions for garnish


Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.

2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and scramble the eggs until just set. Remove from heat.

3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

4. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.

5. Spoon scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese onto the wide end of each triangle.

6. Roll up from the wide end to the tip, tucking the filling as needed.

7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.

8. Let cool slightly, garnish with chives or green onions if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

Use pre-cooked sausage to save time.

For extra flavor, add sautéed onions or bell peppers.

Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer for best texture.
