Description

This creamy Shrimp Dip is the ultimate party appetizer, blending tender shrimp, tangy sour cream, and smooth cream cheese with herbs and seasonings. It’s easy, flavorful, and always a hit!

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 lb cooked shrimp, finely chopped

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh dill or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. If using fresh shrimp, boil or sauté until cooked, then let cool and finely chop. If using pre-cooked, thaw and pat dry before chopping.

2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.

3. Add chopped shrimp, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, celery, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently to combine.

4. Transfer dip to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes or more.

5. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley and serve with crackers or veggies.

Notes

Use tail-off shrimp to save prep time.

For a spicy version, mix in cayenne or hot sauce.

Chill at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
