Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
8 ounces noodles (spaghetti, lo mein, ramen, or udon)
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger or paste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 green onions, sliced
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Boil noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
3. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer briefly.
5. Add noodles and toss to coat evenly in sauce. Heat through.
6. Top with green onions and serve hot.
Notes
Use any type of noodle you prefer.
Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
Fresh ginger gives the best flavor, but paste works well too.
