Ingredients
2 lbs frozen fully-cooked meatballs
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Sesame seeds for garnish
Sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger until combined.
2. Place meatballs in the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours, stirring halfway through if possible.
4. Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the slow cooker 20 minutes before cooking ends to thicken the sauce.
5. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For homemade meatballs, be sure to pre-cook them before adding to the slow cooker.
Stir occasionally during cooking for even sauce distribution.
Add red pepper flakes or sriracha if you prefer heat.
