Description

Ingredients

3 cups sweet potatoes

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup butter

2 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup chopped pecans


Instructions

1. Peel and chop sweet potatoes, then boil in salted water until fork-tender. Drain and mash until smooth.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until creamy.

3. Spread the mixture into a buttered baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, chopped pecans, and melted butter until crumbly.

5. Sprinkle the topping over the sweet potato mixture.

6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
