Description
This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is a delicious shortcut dessert that delivers big flavor with minimal effort. Featuring layers of sweet strawberry pie filling, rich cream cheese, buttery cake mix, and golden melted butter, it bakes into a gooey, cobbler-meets-cheesecake treat.
Ingredients
2 (21-ounce) cans strawberry pie filling
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened and cubed
1 box (15.25-ounce) yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Spread strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
3. Scatter the cubed cream cheese over the filling. Add vanilla extract if using.
4. Sprinkle cake mix evenly on top—do not stir.
5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much surface as possible.
6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
7. Let cool slightly before serving with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
Soften the cream cheese fully before cubing to ensure even melting.
For extra golden topping, check halfway through baking and rotate if needed.
Let it cool at least 10 minutes before scooping for cleaner servings.
