Description
Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake Tacos are a fun and irresistible handheld dessert made with crispy cinnamon sugar taco shells, a smooth cheesecake filling, and a strawberry crunch coating. Topped with fresh strawberries and optional sauce, they’re perfect for parties or sweet cravings.
Ingredients
6 small flour tortillas
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Oil for frying
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
1/2 cup Golden Oreos
1 cup diced fresh strawberries
Strawberry sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. In a food processor, blend freeze-dried strawberries and Golden Oreos to a fine crumb. Transfer to a shallow bowl and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a skillet. Mix cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl. Fry tortillas one at a time, folding with tongs into taco shapes. Fry until golden brown and coat in cinnamon sugar while warm. Cool completely.
3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold gently into the cream cheese mixture.
4. Fill each cooled taco shell with the cheesecake filling using a spoon or piping bag. Dip or press the filling side into the strawberry crunch topping.
5. Top with diced strawberries and drizzle with strawberry sauce if using. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use full-fat cream cheese for the richest flavor.
Do not assemble too early; the shells soften over time.
If baking the shells, drape tortillas over oven rack bars at 375°F for 7–9 minutes.
