Description

This Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta is a bold, flavor-packed dinner idea that balances heat with sweetness. Featuring tender steak, a garlicky soy-based glaze, and al dente pasta, it’s perfect for a weeknight meal or a casual dinner party. Keywords: sweet and spicy pasta, garlic steak pasta, spicy steak recipe, easy steak dinner, pasta with garlic sauce.

Ingredients

1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced

8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

5 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak in batches and sear until browned and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. Lower the heat and add a bit more oil or butter. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Stir in brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and soy sauce. Let the sauce bubble and thicken slightly.

4. In a separate pot, boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.

5. Add the cooked pasta and steak to the skillet with the sauce. Toss everything well to coat.

6. Stir in butter and parsley. Add a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.

7. Serve hot, optionally with more red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan.

Notes

Let the steak rest before slicing to keep it juicy.

Avoid burning the garlic—it cooks quickly.

Taste and adjust the spice or sweetness before combining everything.
