Description

Smoky, buttery, and kissed with garlic and spice, these Texas Roadhouse Grilled Shrimp are a quick and flavorful dinner you can make at home in under 30 minutes. Perfect as an appetizer, light entrée, or party favorite!

Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 tbsp melted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp smoked paprika

0.5 tsp cayenne pepper

0.5 tsp salt

0.25 tsp black pepper

Chopped parsley and lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.

2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let them sit for 15 minutes while you preheat the grill or skillet.

3. Thread shrimp onto skewers. Grill on medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and slightly charred.

4. Transfer shrimp to a plate, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Use fresh or thawed raw shrimp and pat dry for best grill marks.

Tail-on shrimp look great for presentation but are optional.

Don’t overcook the shrimp—remove them as soon as they turn pink.
