Description
An edible Thanksgiving Cornucopia Centerpiece made with crescent dough, shaped into a festive horn, and filled with seasonal fruits, herbs, nuts, and treats. It’s the ultimate showstopper for your holiday table—both beautiful and delicious.
Ingredients
2 cans crescent roll dough
1 large aluminum foil roll
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
Optional sesame or poppy seeds
1 cup grapes
2 mini apples
2 pears
1 cup pecans
1 cup almonds
3 sprigs rosemary
3 sprigs sage
1 cup chocolates
6 cookies
1 cup dried fruit
Instructions
1. Create a cone shape using aluminum foil, about 18 inches long with a curved tip.
2. Unroll crescent dough and cut into long strips. Wrap around the foil cone, overlapping slightly.
3. Whisk the egg with water and brush it over the dough. Add seeds if desired.
4. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes.
5. Cool completely and gently remove foil.
6. Fill with fruits, nuts, herbs, and treats. Let it cascade naturally.
Notes
Be sure to let the horn cool completely before removing foil to prevent tearing.
Fill only when ready to serve to keep dough crisp.
For savory variation, try cheeses, meats, and crackers inside.
