Description
Thanksgiving Stuffing Balls are crispy on the outside, savory and tender inside, and packed with holiday flavors in a bite-sized form. A fun, mess-free way to serve stuffing as a side or appetizer—and a great use for leftovers!
Ingredients
6 cups dried bread cubes
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 medium onion finely chopped
2 celery stalks finely chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional
Instructions
1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5-6 minutes. Stir in poultry seasoning, thyme, salt, and pepper.
2. In a large bowl, mix the bread cubes with the cooked vegetables. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and broth, then pour into the bread mix. Stir until moist but not soggy. Let sit 5-10 minutes.
3. Once cooled, shape into golf ball-sized rounds. Adjust with more broth or breadcrumbs if needed. Chill 20-30 minutes on a lined baking sheet.
4. Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Spray lightly with cooking spray for extra crispiness.
Notes
Use dry or day-old bread for best texture.
Don’t skip chilling—helps them hold shape.
You can air fry for 10–12 minutes at 375°F if preferred.
