Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup white rice
2 cups chicken broth
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Bring white rice and chicken broth to a boil, then simmer until rice is cooked.
2. Stir in heavy cream, parsley, and dill into the rice. Keep warm.
3. In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
4. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
5. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
6. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss shrimp in the garlic butter sauce.
7. Assemble bowls by spooning creamy herb rice and topping with garlic butter shrimp.
8. Garnish with extra herbs and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
Notes
Use room temperature shrimp for even cooking.
Don’t overcook shrimp — remove once they turn pink and form a “C” shape.
If reheating, add a splash of broth to keep the rice creamy.
