Description
This quick and creamy Chicken Alfredo is the ultimate comfort food made simple. Tender chicken breast slices, a rich homemade Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked fettuccine come together in less than 30 minutes—ideal for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
0.5 teaspoon salt
0.5 teaspoon black pepper
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
1.5 cups grated parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the parmesan cheese and whisk until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
4. Slice the cooked chicken. Add the drained pasta into the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Top with sliced chicken and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh parmesan for the best melt and flavor.
If reheating, add a splash of cream to restore creaminess.
Customize with mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes.
