Description

This Zesty Greek Chicken Pasta with Spicy Harissa Feta Cream & Roasted Asparagus Crisps combines Mediterranean marinated chicken, creamy harissa-feta sauce, and crispy asparagus for a bold and comforting dinner recipe. Perfect for weeknight meals or entertaining, this spicy Greek pasta dish brings flavor and texture in every bite.


Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts

3 tbsp lemon juice

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp harissa paste

3/4 cup feta cheese

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

12 oz pasta of choice

1 bunch asparagus spears

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and black pepper, to taste


Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for 30 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and roast for 12–15 minutes until crisp and charred.

3. Boil pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

4. In a hot skillet, sear marinated chicken until golden and cooked through. Slice into strips.

5. Blend feta cheese, Greek yogurt, and harissa paste until smooth. Add pasta water for a creamy consistency.

6. Toss cooked pasta with the harissa feta cream. Add sliced chicken, top with roasted asparagus, and finish with Parmesan. Serve warm.

Notes

Feta blends best at room temperature for a smoother sauce.

Don’t skip the pasta water—it’s essential for a silky finish.

For extra spice, add more harissa to the cream blend.
