Description
This Cajun Steak Bites with Cheesy Garlic Shell Pasta Skillet recipe combines tender, juicy Cajun-seasoned steak bites with creamy, garlicky shell pasta. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions, it’s a bold, comforting skillet meal that’s quick to prepare and bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
450g sirloin steak
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
250g small pasta shells
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp butter
240ml heavy cream
120g shredded cheddar cheese
50g grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Pat the sirloin steak dry and cut into bite-sized cubes. Season generously with Cajun seasoning.
2. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak bites for 2–3 minutes per side until browned but still juicy. Remove and set aside.
3. In a separate pot, cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
4. In the same skillet used for the steak, melt 1 tbsp butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 1–2 minutes before adding cheddar and Parmesan. Stir until the sauce is smooth.
6. Toss the cooked pasta shells in the sauce, then return the steak bites to the skillet and mix gently.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
This recipe works well with ribeye or strip steak if you prefer a richer cut.
For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the Cajun seasoning.
If reheating leftovers, add a splash of cream to restore the sauce’s texture.
