Ingredients

1 pound penne pasta

2 cups Velveeta four-cheese blend, cubed

1 cup heavy cream

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 pound sirloin steak or flat iron steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

1. Cut steak into cubes and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear beef bites over high heat until browned and just cooked through. Set aside.

3. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook penne until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.

4. In a large pan, melt butter and sauté garlic and onion until soft.

5. Add heavy cream and stir in Velveeta cheese until fully melted and smooth. Add reserved pasta water if needed to thin the sauce.

6. Add cooked pasta and Cajun beef bites to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.

7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with extra black pepper if desired.

Notes

Use freshly chopped parsley for a bright finish.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to your heat preference.

Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency as needed.
