Description
Soft Marshmallow Lucky Charms Treats are buttery, gooey, and packed with colorful cereal charm, making them a quick no-bake dessert that is perfect for parties, holidays, and fun family baking days.
Ingredients
6 cups Lucky Charms cereal
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 ounces mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cups extra mini marshmallows
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
Nonstick spray or extra butter for the pan
Instructions
1. Lightly grease an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray or butter.
2. Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat.
3. Add the 10 ounces mini marshmallows and salt, stirring until almost fully melted.
4. Stir in the vanilla extract and remove the pot from the heat once smooth.
5. Fold in the Lucky Charms cereal gently until fully coated.
6. Add the extra 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows and fold briefly to keep them soft and visible.
7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and lightly press into an even layer.
8. Let cool at room temperature for 30 to 45 minutes, then slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Keep the heat low so the marshmallows stay soft and the bars do not turn hard.
Do not press the mixture too firmly into the pan or the treats can become dense.
For a more colorful finish, press a few extra Lucky Charms marshmallows on top before the bars set.
